Giant can be seen as Xen’drik Common and is understood by most of the civilized peoples of the Shattered Land. This isn’t to say that the bee-people won’t have their own language, but Giant is the recognized trade language.
Giant is the language of the giants, the ancient rulers of the continent of Xen'drik, and their slaves, the drow. After the giant empire fell, the remaining, more primitive giants, still use the language. The drow have continued to use the language as well.
