Myrkul
One of the 3 Satellites in the Expanse.
Geography
- Bony spindles of chaotic metal is the predominant feature of this satellite. Spiraling around like a forest or cage of metal streets extend far beyond the gravity plane. First visitors often find it extremely disorienting.
- The central core of the planet is a mass of ice with the central spires stabbing into it used primarily for extraction of life sustaining water.
Climate
- Myrkul is uniqe in that it is inhospitable for most forms of life without sygnificant augmentation.
- The air is significantly toxic and foul so denizens are nearly always seen with their recognizable masks and nutrient port implant on their collar.
- Without a significant gravity well and rich air supply heat is typically in short supply. Denizens are augmented further to resist the inescapable cold.
