Night of the Dead

-    Once night falls, family feasts called death feasts are put into full joyful merriment, and the bowls of food for the dead, and offerings for the house gargoyles are placed on the steps. All party till the morning light to bring in a new year of blessings or curses.

Execution

-    So offerings of food and drink to the dead may be offered at gravesides or at the steps to the house. All stay up till the morning light where all see the morning sun rising then sleep to bring day dreams and fend off the Death Guardians.
-    Bowls of oil, small crystals of stone, bits of metal, flower decorations, or even small pieces of gold will be place along with the food for the gargoyles of the house to adorn themselves. If the gift is worthy the morning will show what they took as thanks for the year of protection.

Components and tools

-    Small portions of the death feast are placed on the steps while bowls of oil for wooden gargoyles, bits of metals, stones, crystals, or even gold nuggets are placed on the step a well for the gargoyles to adorn themselves. If the family is poor enough then flowers are picked into crowns, lanyards, or other shapes.

Observance

-    This festival takes place on the eve of Temple Day.
