Lady Sonya Deorac

Lady Sonya Deorac

Sonya was the grand daughter of the late King Fyodor Deorac though she had the family name of her father, a scion of one of Talama's many extinguished noble lines.   She had seven brothers and sisters, but she was the only child of eight to survive Swynfaredia's purge against the Deorac family. After finding asylum in the land of Fumaya, she defiantly abandoned her father's name and claimed the Deorac surname as her birthright. She married into one of Fumaya's noble houses but her descendants may have different surnames now, but they are still proud of their Deorac blood and they inherited the Deorac family's hatred for Swynfaredians.
