Maddock the human was the consort of the Numaness the Mystic and sired more half-dragon children than any known human.
It's arguably or not whether Maddock and Numaness loved each other but is clear that Numaness viewed her husband as more than mere breeding stock.  He was her most trusted advisor and he was given far more administrative power and influence than any human spouse of the Founding Dragons.
He was a skilled alchemist and according to scandalous rumors, a wizard.
