The Monk of the Way of the Dragon aren't a religious order, they are a school of combat, and a very expensive one.

Learning to fight barehanded and with all type of weapons is the target of their training. When a yuong is accepted in the school it's only the beginning, nearly half of the recruits does not complete the first year (with a high level of casualty).

When a warrior become Master, then he can start to teach "his own version" of the Way of the Dragon, special moves, tactics, new weapons and so on.
