Sisters of Purity
Inspired by the image of Purity linked to the cult of Arva, a Sacred Order of the Sisters of Purity was spontaneously created, composed only of women and dedicated to this aspect of divinity. This order was later officially recognized by the Church of Arva and also took part in the Great Crusade.
The Sisters of Purity are committed to freeing Valenor from the miasma of Darkness. For some time they have been studying ways, remedies and spells suitable for eliminating the Taint from people, creatures and the territory, so that they can bring back to life and joy, territories and people now considered "lost".
Organization History
With the arrival of the Darkness on Valenor, more and more territories and people were contaminated by the scourge. In the 4th century of the new era this fate befell the town of Conzon, in the Kingdom of Sobral.
Darkness conquered Conzon in a single night, most of the townspeople were horribly killed, and they were the luckiest. Those who remained had now changed forever into deformed creatures, few survivors (mostly women and children) found escape by taking refuge in a temple in Arva. Among them was Paloma, a woman of ill repute but of strong faith, who guided the survivors, keeping them alive, towards salvation.
After witnessing the destruction of Conzon and with the experience gained in the escape, many of the survivors having lost everything, remained tied to Paloma, in what was the first nucleus of what one day would be called "Sisters of Purity".
Actual Situation
Currently, the Sisters of Purity are present in various outposts and monasteries near areas contaminated by Darkness or in large cities where dark plots often lurk.
The sisters are divided between Orants and Militants, while the former are involved in research, contracting and purification of corruption, the latter are fanatical warriors used when corruption is too deep and requires to be rooted out. With strength.
The Sisters' army is called the Bulwark, with a main core of exalted heavy infantry militants; armed with long pikes and small shields. Other units of crossbowmen and light cavalry serve to flank the slow but inexorable advance of the pikes.

The Tomb of Santa Paloma
The tomb of the founder of the order, in the city of Tallona, is today one of the great cathedrals of the cult of Arva, but managed entirely by the Sisters. In addition to Paloma's tomb, the remains of the other First Sisters who led the Order after Paloma are preserved in the temple. In addition, there are preserved the clothes that the Saint wears during the escape from Conzon.
The Robes of Santa Paloma
The clothes worn by the saint during the escape from Conzon are considered real relics. The faithful who are allowed to touch the sacred garments experience a sense of immediate serenity and are healed of madness and other mental illnesses.
The Fortress of Abenara
If Tallona is the religious center of the order, Abenara is its military heart. The Fortress is the residence of the First Sister and the recruiting and training center for those who want to join the order. Legend has it that Abenara fell into the hands of Darkness but that Santa Paloma herself led the first Bulwark of the Sisters to its reconquest.
