The central island is home to the Temple of Vanaheimr, also known as "the Temple of Heroes". Since its appearance it has always been inhabited by Priests and Paladins of War and is the burial place of all those who are chosen as "heroes" by the cult of Sardar.

The island was recalled from the abyss by the will of Sardar, to continue to honor the memory of the fallen in the battle of the Plains of Cyric.

Being buried on this island is a great honor and many faithful go on pilgrimage to the island to visit and pay homage to the burials of famous heroes of the past.
