The God of Thousand Forms
The God of Thousand Forms is Nyarlathotep; the faceless god is active and frequently roams the material plane. Most of the Outer Gods have their own cults serving them; Nyarlathotep seems to serve these cults and take care of their affairs in the other Outer Gods' absence. Most Outer Gods use strange alien languages, while Nyarlathotep uses human languages and can easily pass for a human being if he chooses to do so. Unlike most Outer Gods and Great Old Ones who have an alien morality that mortals cannot comprehend, Nyarlathotep is particularly malicious in his endeavors. He is also particularly interested in mortal creatures, and is known to start cults around himself, each around a different avatar, and set them to war with eachother to see how things play out.
Nyarlathotep is rumored to have a thousand forms. All of the avatars listed here represent one of the many masks that Nyarlathotep wears. While all distinct with varying abilities, strengths, and weaknesses, they all share some abilities that make them discernible as Nyarlathotep, listed below.
Immortality (Ex)
If any avatar of Nyarlathotep is slain, it becomes a protoplasmic slurry of indeterminate composition. This dissipates almost immediately throughout the multiverse. This coalesces after 1d6 days at any location on any plane Nyarlathotep chooses. This new form can be any that Nyarlathotep chooses.
