Ceramica Malaspiniana by Alberto Zanini
The city of Malaspina, in the principality of Giglio, has in recent years become the center of the production of fine ceramics. Not that the production of other cities of the Hansa Principalities have worsened, but owning or in some cases setting the entire table with the fine ceramics of Malaspina has become the status symbol of the nobles and the rich in many kingdoms, such as kingdom of Sobral.
The reception of His Excellency the Count of Cenatia, Rafael Miglargo y Cenatia, held on the 21st of Gelida this year, exhibited dishes and accessories for almost 1200 pieces and an artistic centerpiece worth thousands of crowns.
How many of you can afford to buy even one piece of Malaspinian workmanship? Or perhaps you prefer blown glass from Linton or Sant'Agasio?
