Bellerose

Bellerose is one of the seven founding members of the World Coalition, a fairly large island with a majority human population slightly north of the halfway point of the Misty Reach (on the eastern side). It's reasonably prosperous due to its convenient placement as a trade center, though it's very difficult to legally immigrate to it so its population isn't as large as it could otherwise be; the larger port cities have a sizable underbelly of people living there illegally as well as "traveling" traders who call said city their home port. Despite the generally negative effect that Coalition Nobility has on the parts of the populace who aren't a part of it, Bellerose has a sizable faction known as "Loyalists" that idolizes the Bellerose family as the cause of their prosperity; this faction, comprising a majority of the more rural occupants, is the primary reason for Bellerose's continued policies of exclusion (which, ironically, actually contribute negatively to the island's economy and prevent it from growing further).
