In the long run, Pyrennean Mountain Dogs were utilized, but the species' numbered years still posed a potential problem. Although their hefty 10-12 year lifespan was one of the lengthiest among four-legged companions, the scientists thought hard to concoct a treatment that could stunt the aging process and keep operative dogs on the force for even longer amounts of time.
