Cay Klick Worshipers
History
A young elf, Bronadon Falchon, who had just discovered he did not have enough magic to receive training, wandered into the abandoned basement of the Corcodir Tower. A shifting of the structure had caused a crevasse in the floor. While sitting on the floor a rat came sniffing about. The boy kicked out in disgust sending the rat into the crevasse. Some time later he heard a splash and a barking growl and felt a strange tingling of magic.
Quickly realizing the potential, he recruited a few malleable lads to his cause. They help him excavate and enlarge the basement. Over time Bronadon became the first priest and the two lads his first servants.
Divine Origins
Comprised of the outcasts of society, the first cultists discovered that feeding the Cay Klick monster living flesh provided them with magical abilities. However, they learned that these abilities did not last. Over time they began experimenting with larger flesh until they worked their way to sentient flesh.
Cosmological Views
Magic is thought to create the world and knit it together. Therefore those with magic are believed to be elevated above others. Thus the acquisition of magic is of the utmost importance.
Tenets of Faith
Magic is held supreme. Even fellow cultists are not as important as the acquisition of magic. Others, none cultists, are the preferred offering. However, if another can not be found and the high priest's power begins to wane the lowest cultist member will be offered to the Cay Klick.
Priesthood
Those with the highest magical ability are held up as leaders. They receive the first access to magical gifts from the Cay Klick.
