Leo System

Leo System is the Mandate-era capital of the Leo Omega sector. Its high number of habitable worlds made it an obvious choice for the center of government and culture. However, disastrous events during the Scream and the Silence made two of the three worlds nearly uninhabitable. The exact nature of these events is unclear, but one of the worlds, Atlas, managed to avoid that fate. Megacorporations based on Atlas are beginning to establish themselves as the natural successors of sector government, promoting trade and industry free from government oversight.
