Darkness

Darkness is a holy day throughout Seinnaris, and it takes place on the 2nd day of the 2nd week of the 2nd month each year.
The day honors Hamamoto, and is used to demonstrate respect in an attempt to appease her. One must stay out of her realm, the dark, from sun up to sun down. The more light around you at all times the better. Even standing in shade is considered dangerous and risks angering her. To spend even a moment indoors without lights all around is an invitation for doom.
