Kirva is the Goddess of Truth. Being the daughter of
Senno, the God of War, she has seen first hand how truths revealed tactfully at the right time and to the right person can lead to conflict and death. Nevertheless, she teaches that being honest and forthcoming about all things is the only truth path to understanding and peace.
Kirva's aura causes anyone within her presence to feel an unusually strong moral compulsion to be forthcoming. Telling a lie is impossible, and deliberately misleading someone with half truths causes physical pain to the speaker. This aura is suppressed when her older half brother
Seishiro is also present.
Description
Kirva appears as a fair skinned young woman with the same golden hair as her father. Her eyes have a faint tint of his golden hue also, but hers are very light and almost appear white instead. She wears golden plate armor and carries a silver spear called
Veilpeircer.
Personality
Kirva carries herself with an exuberance that some others call youthful naivety. She believes that people can only truly understand each other after they have shared their deepest truths with each other, and tries to resolve all problems by having people confess feelings and beliefs. When this alone is not enough to prevail, she becomes unsure of herself and easily discouraged.
Relationships
Kirva is the daughter of
Senno, and was raised with a deep understanding of conflict and war. Her belief that all conflict stems from two people not truly understanding each other drives every aspect of her personality and actions. She has a rocky understanding that war is necessary to maintain balance in Seinnaris as it exists today, and as such she respects the work of her father. Nevertheless, she continues to strive for a world where everyone can understand each other completely and conflicts will no longer exist.
Kirva is the younger half sister of
Seishiro, who in many ways is her polar opposite. She doesn't view him as evil or someone to fight against though, but rather someone she has yet to convince or win over.
Kirva shares a lot of idealogy with
Hiega and admires his empathetic nature. She is convinced that if everyone were truly open and honest with each other they would be able to empathize perfectly and it would be the surest path to harmony.
Kirva naturally respects
Arashiki and his desire to share wisdom and knowledge with everyone. It parallels her own vision of the ideal future.
Holidays
Day of Absolution is time to confess hidden truths and forgive transgressions.
