Rina Softpaw

The owner of the Cobalt Arena, who is famous for using blue magic to interact with and even tame otherwise wild creatures.

Personal History

Rina was born in S277 and grew up outside of Takusen, where she quickly developed an affinity for nature and wild creatures.
In S294 she travelled to Sanwen to study under Mythea of the Cobalt Scar at the Cobalt Daiga. Rina learned to harness blue magic here, working and studying until Mythea's death in S305.
After this time Rina decided to travel and continue learning from nature and the creatures she encountered along the way. Although it's said that she was often seen in the company of animal companions, she otherwise traveled alone. Not too much is known of the specifics of her travels, other than the fact that she occasionally ventured into cities to sell rare artifacts or other discoveries.
In S312 she was able to fund the creation of a wildlife preserve southwest of Bashuku, which allowed visitors to come and study. In order to continue to fund her work, she eventually developed the preserve into the Cobalt Arena. For a fee, it allows aspiring blue magic users to interact with creatures in a more controlled environment than the wild.
