Siege of Camellotte

Military action

1387DA
1399DA

Having conquering the bulk of the continent, the Empire lays siege to Camellotte, and Torg returns to the place he helped defend 100 years before.

The siege is pretty much anything but. Camellotte is already a sprawling city in multiple directions, with access to the sea. The Torgish navy, such as it is, is almost completely depleted at this point. Though powerful sorcerers on both sides keep the magical conflict at a stalemate, most of the city dwellers simply go underground when the Torgs manage a breach of any sort, and guerilla tactics wreak havock on the army.   Torg himself is killed in the second year of the siege, but his grandson, Torg II is a fierce and experienced general at this point and takes his place.
