Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Being a commander in the Kasian Army Commander Nahrina is excellent physical condition. Her muscle is more toned than bulky which means that some underestimate her strength.

Identifying Characteristics

She had a tattoo on her left forearm from her coming of age ceremony. The tattoo is a halberd wrapped in a green cloth.

Physical quirks

Her dominant hand is her left though she has trained to be ambidextrous. She has a habit of crossing her arms and furrowing her brow when deep in thought. Many people who do not know her assume that she is mad when she is in this position.

Specialized Equipment

Her favorite weapon is a halberd, but she also keeps a dagger with an emerald hilt at her waist.

Personal history

Nahrina enjoyed her life with her parents. They traveled outside of the Kasian Empire to other kingdoms and countries. She saw many amazing and beautiful things and didn't want anything to change. One day when her family was back in the Kasian Empire she was walking along the main trade street. She had run home to grab something for her parents and was making her way back to their stall. The crowd was thick and it was hard to navigate, but Nahrina started to hear screams from up ahead. Someone pushed past her and she fell hard on the ground knocking the breath out of her. As she struggled to her feet she could hear the pounding of hooves coming closer. People were screaming something and she looked around slowly still dazed. She just had time to look up and see a cart thundering towards her with no driver when someone knocked into her again. Instead of pushing her to ground again, Nahrina felt herself lifted into the air secured in someone's arms. There was a thud and then the sensation of falling gently to the ground. A voice asked, "Are you alright little one?" Nahrina looked up and found herself face to face with the Queen of the Kasian Empire. Nahrinas' eyes widen in amazement and confusion since the queen was dressed similarly to any another merchant on the street. The queen put a finger to her lips and winked at Nahrina. "I am disguised for reasons I'd like to keep to myself. Can you keep a secret for me little one?" Nahrina could not find her voice, but merely nodded. The queen set Nahrina down gently and pulled something out from her satchel. It was an emerald green shawl. "Here," the queen said. "Take this as my thanks. It will also go well with your eyes." The queen put the shawl in Nahrinas' hands and then she looked around quickly. She pulled her hood further down and disappeared further down the alleyway.
Nahrina stumbled back into the street still a little dazed. When she finally made it back to her parents stall they were relieved. They had heard the commotion of the runaway cart and were worried since they knew she could be walking in the street. Nahrina told them what happened except for the fact that the queen saved her. She claimed it was a female soldier from the Kasian army and that she wanted to go to military school. While wanting to join the military was acceptable her parents were still confused by her sudden change of heart. They had many discussions before they allowed her to enroll.

Education

Nahrina was educated mostly by her parents who were merchants that would travel around Senmir to trade and sell goods. After an incident with a runaway cart and the young Queen herself saving Nahrina, she begged her parents to put her into the military school so she could train to become a soldier.

Motivation

Nahrina wants to become part of the personal body guard to the queen. This is the highest honor to have, but the queen saved Nahrinas' life when she was younger. Nahrina does not know of the queen remembers the occasion, but Nahrina does and wants to repay the debt.
