Onren
One of the major kingdoms of Sentius, holding sway over the fast and impenetrable (without a guide or experience) mountains.
Geography
Nothing but mountans and valleys as far as the eye can see. Standing above the clouds along these slopes, it truly feels like one is standing at the throat of the world itself.
Climate
Dry, cold, and windy year-round. These peaks and mountain ranges are eternally coated in layers of ice and snow.
Fauna & Flora
Though frosted over, life does continue to grow. Within caves lichen and moss are common and small herbivores feed off of them. These cave systems---both natural and man-made---are hosts to plenty of life, even underground, warm groves.
Natural Resources
The man-made and natural tunnels are rich with mineral deposits and gemstones, building the reputation of renowned craftsmen, smiths, and jewlers from Onren.
History
What was once a proud and beautiful kingdom has since fallen into ruin with the spread of the highly infectious and incurable dragonic plague. The kingdom closed its borders some twenty years ago to protect the rest of Sentius from the blight.
