Planes of Existence

In Dungeons and Dragons, the world in which mostly every adventure begins is on the Material Plane. This encompasses the world and everything in it. For example, one could think of Earth and the planets around Earth as all being part of the Material Plane. Other planes exist outside our own and interact with the Material Plane on a larger and more cosmic scale. Not every monster in the world comes from our world after all. An example would be demons and devils and their relationship to Hell, and angels being related to Heaven. To answer questions such as, "where does magic come from?" and "how does teleportation work?" presented here is a list of the different planes of existence in the Serentheim campaign setting!
