Aelyndar

Aelyndar is a simple town in Thrane whose trade and economy mostly relies on the hunting and lumber available from the two nearby woods. It's people are a devout group who, like much of Thrane, place the highest importance on the reverence of the gods.
It is most famous as the supposed birthplace of Paragon Imistil Tirel, The Slayer and as such has become a minor place of pilgrimage for followers of Nylea and Heliod, both of whom have a temple dedicated to them in within the town walls. A play of the story of Imistil is put on every year in Nylean by the townspeople, with the part of Imistil a highly coveted honour amongst the young women of Aelyndar.
