Lake Home

Lake Home is an idyllic dwarven village nestled in the heart of The Mror Holds. Whilst its size and simple name might suggest a place of little import, every Khorvairian knows its name and its position as a seat of true power throughout the continent. A power and influence made inevitable at its founding. Lake Home started as just that, a retirement home on the edge of Mirror Lake for the original founder of House Kundarak. 
As the house has used its innate abilities to establish itself as the preeminent banking, financial and security institution in Khorvaire, so has the size and affluence of Lake Home grown. House Kundarak has gone to lengths to ensure that it remains a relatively small and beautiful community, keeping a tight control over how is allowed to purchase property so close to their behemoth headquarters. Many of the guards and higher officials in running the everyday mechanisms of the village are unmarked members of House Kundarak, loyal to their family and dedicated to their continued prosperity.
