Thea
Thea was an Elder Dragon who was slain thousands of years ago by Kronus. He was slain alongside Rhea in what Kronus' horde still celebrate as their master's greatest victory and proof of his incomparable might. Dragonborn are not known for their dedicated history keeping and communication with Kronus' horde can be particularly dangerous so it has been hard to place when exactly Thea fell though most the preeminent scholars on the subject place it somewhere towards the end of the Age of Earth. Much debate surrounds where this titanic battle took place and where his final resting place may lie. Several ventures have been made to recover his skeleton but, despite its presumably colossal size, it has proved elusive.
Depictions in Dragonborn art differentiate Thea from other Elder Dragons by their red scales and the cracks of lava that came pouring out from the sheer heat they held within. Many red dragons still live today and claim to be descendants of Thea. It is theorised that it was this overly prodigious reproductive nature that led to Kronus' attack in the first place.
