Refuge

Refuge was the hidden dimensional space created by Zurghasta at the end of the Goding Wars, which was used to save thousands from the Destruction that tore the world apart. It was the largest Scurasphere ever created.
The term for Refuge as the place is interchangeable with its term as an historical timeframe - the time that those in Refuge, known as the Thulayans, lived apart from the world during the Destruction and the long ages of Shadowfire.
Time moved at a much slower rate in Refuge. Seven generations of Thulayans lived and died in Refuge - a span of about 200 pre-Destruction years, while at least 3,000 years - or 100 generations - passed in the world they left behind.

Refuge was a pure articifical and magically created microcosm - a strange finite space that was looped upon itself in 3 dimensions.
