The Candy Bar

Once you get past the pair of orc bouncers sweeping for and checking weapons at the door, you find yourself in The Candy Bar. From the main entrance, a large staircase leads down to the main dance floor and bar area, while the upper floor is merely a metal scaffolding that hugs the walls of the large, theater like space. Tables and booths crowd the balcony floor, while below the floor plan is wide open, with patrons hovering near the bar, or jamming out on the dance floor. The entire space is lit from below with bubblegum pink neon. The light is bright, but quickly gives way to the dark walls and large surface area, leaving the ceiling obscured by darkness.
A holodancer gyrates on a virtual pole in one corner of the bar, while the opposite end, past the dance floor, is taken up by a large bar covered in bottles, and adorned by vid screens showing a half dozen flavors of silenced video entertainment.

Purpose / Function

The Candy Bar is a nightclub and bar near the border of Bellevue and Redmond - where the wealthy come to live dangerously, but not too dangerously. At a glance, its a runner-poser bar, a glamourous facimile of the real deal. Lots of wanna-bes, never-will-bes, and groupies frequent the main club floor.
Behind the scenes, however, the Candy Bar is exactly what the posers wish it was - a meeting space for Runners, as it's owner, the "Candyman" , is a fixer of some repute in the Shadowrunning community. The back rooms of the club hold several conference rooms equipped with white noise generators and other surveilence prevention measures - ideal for clandestine business meetings.
