History
As soon as Katie began working at N.E.P.D., Dominic moved in on her, expecting an easy "conquest." When she rebuffed his advances, he was excited by the challenge at first but when it became apparent she wasn't having it, he quickly turned as men like him do.
After he became a detective, he tried again, hoping his new status would sway her. Instead, it galvanized her to seek the lateral promotion where she joined the vice squad. Dominic took pleasure in attaining his Senior Investigator ranking before her, but even that soured when she was promoted in less time than he had been without the need for any nepotism.
Dominic believes that Detective Han is his enemy, each act of hers a slight against him. For her part, Dominic is a spoiled child better ignored than catered to.
