Bendam Mitchar
An old farmer that lives on the outskirts of Malrikstead, "Old Man Mitchar" as he is called by the locals, is a devout follower of The Maker. He generously offers the use of his barn to caravans travelling to the Ulrich Monastery due to there not being an inn in the village.
Bendam was rescued by Sylman, Mongo, and Eric when his farm was attacked by ravenous beetles and an ankheg. In gratitude, he gave the party a pair of magical boots handed down by his grandfather which—he claims—were given to him by Tyral Ulrich.
