The Triumvirate

The three dwarven gods, collectively known as the Triumvirate, were—according to scripture—once mortals who discovered the secret of arcane magic and wielded it against the orcs in ages past. The siblings’ passed the knowledge to the rest of dwarfkind who, for generations, used the skill with reckless abandon. Using magic, the dwarves soon realized, not only took its toll on the body but also on the world around them. Their careless use of the gift threatened the integrity of the very world itself. Realizing the peril they had brought to the fabric of the world, the three siblings sacrificed their physical forms to restore the balance of magic.

Worship

Although there are three distinct gods in the dwarven pantheon, they are not individually worshipped. Clerics and paladins of the Triumvirate pray to all three equally and invoke the name of the god or goddess as the situation dictates. Powers granted to clerics are taken from one of the domains from any of the gods but they are not specifically beholden to that particular deity. Similarly, dwarven clerics are bound to serve their people in a myriad of ways.   Domains: Tempest, War, Life, Knowledge, Trickery   Duties: Devotions, Guidance, Marriage, Missions, Vigilance   Dress:
