Xochalakana
The Feathered Basilisk
A lesser loa, Xochalakana is most noted for his ties to the Draconid meteor shower that annually appears in the skies. Legends say that the display is actually the "fiery venom" of the loa that he spits to vanquish his enemies. Other legends have a darker take on the phenomenon, saying those who witness his fury are mesmerized by it and become bound to his will.
