At first, Mariangela appears to be a sardonic, cynical person. One would think that she saw only the worst in people, and as a result, isolates themselves because of this. However, at her core, Mariangela is a damaged person. This manifests as being apathetic and lazy, often letting other people dealing with problems and even falling asleep in the most random of places.
Due to living in isolation, Mariangela is emotionally stunted, not knowing how to properly communicate their emotions.
Under this harsh and rather immature exterior, Mari is genuinely a kind person, and once they're comfortable with someone, they will even smile and crack a joke with others once in a while. She will also become extremely protective, to the point of putting herself in harm's way.
