Tessia the Adamant

Dame Tessia the Adamant is the third Knight Commander of the Knights Sapphire.  She is known for being a young prodigy, being the first knight since the organizations inception to be knighted without training as a squire.  This is especially notable, as she was also a commoner.  This is due to her natural resistance to magic, although there are disputes on this account.  Some believe she comes from an ancient bloodline, others say she is simply a fluke of inbreeding amongst the commoners.  Her appointment to Knight Commander after the second commander of the order retired was controversial, due to her being lowborn, and the prestigiousness of her order.  However the previous commander say great potential, and the years following have shown her to be a superb leader and knight, even if some do scoff at her heritage.
