3rd Landing

Third landing and Tenth landing were set up to be way point cities on the landing path. it is because of that they werent given proper names. These names have stuck through the cities massive growth 3rd landing. Sister city to 10th landing is known for the expanse of land that it encompasses, but the city however, is not dense except for in the market and near the docks. The rest of the city has an obsession with horses. The city buildings are made of a blue hued stone with natural well packed dirt roads. the locals allow vines and moss to gather on their homes and grass is on any road that inst well traveled. On the outskirts building often look abandoned or overgrown and only the locals know that these are the best spots. A common culture trait is that people looking for a drink will often pick a tavern that is rather far away so they can race their horses. It is said that the best bars are on the outskirts of the city, but are often regarded as the most dangerous. There are no walls in third, so often bandits and monsters will wander into the city. The empire pays for monster head so some live on the outskirts and protect the city while making enough money for a drink and a room. The docks are always busy, it seems like any time of night as well. The goods brought in during the import season keep the city sustained and prosperous. During the export city there is more of an influx of travelers from outside the city coming in to sell their wares on the docks. So at almost any time you can find something to suit your needs on the docks. Being a horse centered city a lot of the exports are horse goods and foods that can be shared between rides and mounts. There is a big market for gambling as well, mostly on the horse races. Religion isn't big in the city of Third, but there are some temples that could be found if you were given directions. But there are many wandering druids and trappers that wander in during the export season.
