Bugbear

The largest of the Goblin-Kin They are bred from the hobgoblins to be strong commandos, or shock troops. They are made by the mage breeders They are usually over 7' tall and weighing upwards of 400 lbs. They know how big they are and see themselves better than the smaller goblins and most other hobgoblins.
They are naturally stealthy and live in either day or night but they have no set cycle. However they are a very lazy beast. They are much hairier than the other goblin-kin and look bearlike in nature because of their size and heft. they have blue hues to the sensitive parts like the nose, mouth, gums and the palms and bottoms of the feet. They vary in appearance based on the war-bands they were bread from and the environment. Some bugbears have reptilian like features. Most have brown, unpatterend fur. They prefer to attack from stealth, using there strength from stealth to end an enemy quickly. They do not like combat in fact they want it over quickly so they can go back to resting. If a creature takes the full damage of their stealth they wont stay around long to finish the battle with a strong foe.
They don't have large war-bands but tend to be in smaller hunting parties. They will keep some goblins as fodder or food depending on their mood. they will sometimes send in goblins into smaller holes and pits to draw out their prey. Leaders of the hunting parties are usually the heartiest of the bugbears and will take the lead rather than send in forces in front of himself. Bugbears are primarily male but cannot reproduce because they are created through ash magic affecting a gestating hobgoblin but the bugbear will still attempt reproduction with hearty hobgoblin females or other female creature that are strong. They mature fast like most goblins and are matured by around 10 years of age but often die within the late 20's or early 30's depending on activity levels.
The bugbears have intelligence but are often left untaught. They can use magic and some are even Ash Touched . They scavenge off prey and like weapons. Their favorite weapons are morning stars, but they will take any shiny weapons they see, dropping the previous weapon wherever they find the new one. They don't believe in hoarding or collecting personal property They speak Goblin but are much more guttural and short.
Bugbears are often taught to worship Brakkus but if a bugbear left a hobgoblin clan they will worship Vozo because of the connection to the black moon.
