Goliath

A creature of human and giant descendant. It is unknown how the race originally came to be, but it has survived and thrived even after Banishment of the Giants
They stand about 7 to 8 feet tall on average. They are an athletic and competitive race that love everything involving strength and skill, so sports come naturally to them. Their skin is pale, and can come in a variety of light hues. Most goliaths are rather hairless, even the females. They say it's for speed, but it's never been truly documented. They can carry massive weights and use this in their games of strength. They love the cold and often live in the mountains. It is not uncommon to see the goliaths walking around shirtless in a blizzard. They don't see gender lines either, men and women are treated always as equals. They speak, read, and write in both common and Giant (Jotun), but most avoid speaking it around the man races so as not to scare them.
Golaiths will eat anything they can find, and it's said they can even survive on some of the rocks and minerals in their local mountains. They do a bit of farming, and it's said that there are Goliath mages that create food for the clan by Giant Magic.
They address themselves by their full thee names. (i.e. John Paul Jones)
Again, they love competition. They will never rest on their goals and are always striving to be the best possible creature. They constantly keep a score of their accomplishments and will bring them up in a lot of situations. They find that their worth is directly related to their accomplishments. They love games and it's something that they love to do as a clan. They look for anything that could be challenge and when the clan comes together anyone can bring up a game, whether its an old game or something new that even the youngest player invented on the spot. The winner will tote his or her strength and laugh, but the losers take the loss very hard. they will think about that loss for the rest of their life and will look for the next opportunity to win and win again. unless they come to the conclusion that it is a pointless game or if the game has unfair rules. Goliaths don't like gambling, they believe it ruins competition.
When a memebr of the clan reaches a fragile age they decide their own time. they will inform the tribe and walk into the frosty mountain winds and strip down. then they would have a sit and wait for the winds to take their life Generally they dont see games of intellegence as the most important games. some play them but they see them as games for elders.
They like two handed heavy weapons
