Infernal Greatsword

The blade is massive and is made from a solid bar of rusting iron that was sharpened with blood on a whetstone made of brimstone. From the pommel there is a chain that attaches to the weilder of the weapon.   Last known location: Grog in the Felsmoke Mountains

Mechanics & Inner Workings

Bound until death. Once locking the shackle to the wrist the weapon is bound to the user it until death. Infernal eyes. The eyes glow with an infernal glow. Disadvantage on persuasion but advantage and proficiency on intimidation if not already proficient. Infernal Spellcasting. As an action on your turn you can cast a spell, at the cost of your health. Infernal chains. Once per hour. Duration 1 round. Cost 7(2d6) HP. As an action, select one target within 60 feet that you can see. An infernal portal opens and chains grab the target. They must make a DC 18 STR save or be restrained by the chains and take 5(1d6+2) fire damage or half as much on a successful save and target is not restrained. The creature can use their action on their turn to break the restraints. Infernal Breath. Once per hour. Cost 5(1d8) HP. Targets in a 20ft cone must make a DC 16 DEX save and take 9(2d8) fire damage or half as much on a successful save. Fear the Fire. Once per hour. Cost 4(1d6) HP. Duration 1 round Targets in a 20ft cone must make a DC 14 WIS or become frightened and take 5(1d6+1) psychic damage
