They built an industry on acquisitions and trade of black market goods and consumer goods at the best prices as their cover. they paid off local authorities and broke their way into the governmental sector of cereton. after their control of the local government they pushed people out of cereton, which way made easier by the starting of the landing initiative. when the city fell to crime they only grew stronger. and the fearful nature of the city drove off unwanted visitors but brought in armies for the Dark Edict. The name dark edict came when a High Elf Approached the city looking for an audience with Dusk. She was a powerful warlock and predicted the rise in power of Dusk.
