Government of Japan
The Government of Japan (日本国政府, Nihonkoku-seifu or Nipponkoku-seifu) was the central government of Japan. The Government of Japan consisted of legislature, executive and judiciary branches and is accountable to the Emperor of Japan. The Prime Minister of Japan was the chief executive of the government and is responsible for selecting ministers to serve in the Cabinet of Japan, the executive branch of the state government.
The government went into complete shutdown after the demonic invasion and collapsing into anarchy - many of the surviving party went on to be in the Survivors Pact - working with the otherworldly people that appeared before hand.
The Imperial Palace was taken control by the Order - as they thought it would be a sign that they would run Japan, which many disagreed with.
Disbandment
During the demonic invasion - the Government was unable to act with efficiency due to it's reliance on its soldiers at the time of invasion - it dissolved after many of the world population was killed - unable to act fully.
