Angelkin
Angelkin are those whose ancestors interbred with angels, something that has not been known to happen for millenia. Most are born to human parents (or occasionally elven parents) who have no knowledge of their angelic blood, although there are a few cases of Angelkin living together in small communities and proliferating their celestial ancestry. As opposed to what might be expected, Angelkin are usually shunned by wider society, their powers and their appearance being feared rather than revered.
Basic Information
Biological Traits
Angelkin appear much like their parent species, in height and weight, though they have certain traits that make them stand out from birth. The most common is white irises and pupils, which make their eyes appear completely white. Their skin and hair colour can vary greatly, but they will often have golden freckles or birthmarks, and some strands of their hair will likewise be gold. They will also begin to develop downy feathers on their shoulderblades in adolescence, though these will rarely grow large enough that they can't be covered with normal clothes, and so are fairly easy to hide. Angelkin mature physically at around age 18, and their natural lifespan is between 80 and 120 years, regardless of their parent race or races.

Angelic Heritage: You are resistant to radiant and necrotic damage.
Healing Hands: As an action, you can touch a creature and cause it to regain a number of hit points equal to your level. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your half your proficiency modifier, rounded up, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Full Race Features:
Light Bearer: You know the Light cantrip. You choose (once, when you create your character) INT, WIS or CHA as your spellcasting ability for it.
Radiant Soul: Starting at 3rd level, you can use your action to unleash the divine energy within yourself, causing your eyes to glimmer and two luminous, incorporeal wings to sprout from your back. Your transformation lasts for 1 minute or until you end it as a bonus action. During it, you have a flying speed of 30 feet, and once on each of your turns, you can deal extra radiant damage to one target when you deal damage to it with an attack or a spell. The extra radiant damage equals your level. Once you use this trait, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
Variant Feature:
A full race Angelkin may choose to be descended from a fallen angel, with the following changes: instead of WIS or INT you may choose to increase your STR by one, and you may replace your "Radiant Soul" feature with "Necrotic Shroud".
Necrotic Shroud: Starting at 3rd level, you can use your action to unleash the divine energy within yourself, causing your eyes to turn into pools of darkness and two skeletal, ghostly, flightless wings to sprout from your back. The instant you transform, other creatures within 10 feet of you that can see you must each succeed on a Charisma saving throw or become frightened of you until the end of your next turn. The DC is based on the stat you've chosen for your 'Light Bearer' trait (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + the chosen stat modifier). Your transformation lasts for 1 minute or until you end it as a bonus action. During it, once on each of your turns, you can deal extra necrotic damage to one target when you deal damage to it with an attack or a spell. The extra necrotic damage equals your level. Once you use this trait, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
