Cave Hog

Cave hogs are small boars, kept as domesticated animals by the dwarves of Duurheim and Fiorheim. They are descended from wild boars from above ground, but are acostumed to living underground, and can occasionally be found living wild in the tunnels and underground caves of the Mountain Dwarf kingdoms. They eat moss, grubs and mushrooms, and are very rarely dangerous to anything larger than them. Their meat is an important source of food for mountain dwarves, and cave hogs are an integral part of their resource economy.
