adurium

Adurium, one of the nine continents of sirolynia, is a vast land divided into one large island and thirteen distinct areas. These areas include four major kingdoms, five culturally distinct regions, and three wild, dangerous zones.   Apart from the powerful kingdoms, the most influential force in Adurium is the Silversword Guild . Founded 25 years ago by a group of adventurers, the guild seeks to bring peace and harmony to the continent. With bases in most cities, towns, and even some larger villages, the guild has its largest halls in the capitals of each area or kingdom.   The Four Large Kingdoms of Adurium:   Lusia Kingdom: Once ruled by a tyrannical human king, Lusia is now a diverse kingdom governed by a council with representatives from all major races. It was liberated 35 years ago by the founding members of the Silversword Guild, alongside allies from various groups.   Siralis Kingdom A prosperous Human kingdom ruled by an ancient royal family. Siralis is a major trade hub with state-sponsored traders across Adurium and beyond, making it one of the wealthiest nations on the continent.   Don Marius A Dwarven kingdom situated under the Marius mountain range. Renowned for its mining, crafting, and manufacturing, Don Marius is governed by Clan Marin, an ancient family with many branches, each ruling different regions of this vast kingdom.   Varianinus Kingdom The Elven kingdom of Adurium, Varianinus, is the oldest kingdom on the continent. Its ruling family claims to be chosen by the elven god Corellon . The kingdom is known for its expertise in magic and arcane knowledge, being the center of arcane learning on the continent.   The Five Culturally Distinct Areas:   Zau Deu A bustling trade hub filled with immigrants and merchants from distant lands in bashigan : mainly the seven ielse of sun , and the kou empire . Exotic goods flow through this vibrant region.   Sorka A mysterious jungle region with few known cities. Its inhabitants worship ancient and obscure gods, and it's the only region in Adurium without a Silversword Guild presence.   Drikax A Dragonborn kingdom formed by former slaves who escaped the oppressive rule of the Sleeping Dragon Isle. Though called a kingdom, Drikax is governed by a council, with each dragonborn color represented. It operates under a socialist system.   Dinpala (The Low Lands): A serene region populated primarily by Halflings and other peaceful races. Known for its fertile farmlands and tranquil communities, Dinpala is a peaceful haven.   Sintarius A region ruled by four major tiefling factions who often engage in conflict. The only truly peaceful area is the capital, Sitris , where the factions coexist uneasily.   The Three Wilder Areas:   The Salt Flats Once lush plains, this barren, lifeless region is now covered by a thick layer of salt. No one knows its true origins, but powerful salt winds blow from its center.   Irique (The Cold Lands): A frozen, harsh region filled with wild creatures, nomadic tribes, and untamed wilderness. Survival is difficult in this desolate land.   Dorka Forest The oldest forest in Adurium, filled with wild magic and home to various animal tribes and ancient cultures. The magic of the forest protects its inhabitants and keeps outsiders at bay.   The Sleeping Dragon Isle An island ruled by four families of Chromatic dragons , each commanding an army of dragonfolk and enslaved dragonborn. Legends say a greatwyrm slumbers beneath the island, and when it awakens, it will wreak havoc on Adurium.
