Yasuki Samanosuke

A wicked, bureaucratic man who worked for Hida Jubei . He was a taskmaster and troubleshooter. He disciplined the hinin slaves on the plantation. He branded Chiyo and Eiko. 
He was murdered by Kakita Jihi  on the 18th Day of the Horse, 1864. His body was burned almost beyond recognition in the ensuing fire.
