Scorpion forces destroy the City of Peace

Heiwa Toshi is conquered and presumed destroyed by the Scorpion 5th Legion led by Bayushi Kotone, heir to the Bayushi throne. The 5th Legions attacks from the Humbling River using tin-clads (lightly armored steamships) and from the land using cavalry.   In an unexpected move, Kotone orders her forces to attack the neutral Unicorn, as well as Union forces and citizens.   Northern citizens, led by governor Daidoji Sumiko flee the city with surprisingly few casualties, thanks in part to the brilliant planning of Akodo Kosei, and the brave self-sacrifice of Kakita Jihi.   Total Confederate Forces: 5750 Confederate Fatalities: 758 Confederate Wounded: 1092 Confederate Captured: 0   Total Union Forces: 1400 Union Fatalities: 82 Union Wounded: 62 Union Captured: 50
