Drinking with the Bear

Bears would hardly be known for the strengths of their stomachs if they did not drink the strongest alcohol, and for many Bears the best option is a drink brewed by a fellow Bear. Breweries and personal stills are common, and brewers will compete to see who has the strongest concoction during fairs or local celebrations.

While there is no comparing a Bear brew with an Owl or Wolf beverage when it comes to taste, the Bear spirit will knock a man on his back and then launch him right back to his feet with fire in his heart. Some brewers even manage to avoid poisoning or blinding themselves long enough to brew drinks with subtler flavors and characters. These qualities are, of course, of secondary concern for most Bears.

During times of fat harvests, Bears will sometimes use their liquor as inspiration for acts and endeavors that would seem, to the other clans, foolhardy at best.
