Other Giantfolk

The Elk have precious little interaction with the giant-folk, as none of them were foolish enough to challenge the centaur for dominance of the Ruohom Grass Sea. On occasion a minotaur‌ or an ogre will wander into their lands and be very quickly dispatched. What little interaction the Elk had with gnomes‌ was generally negative, as the small folk tended to get underfoot and made strange devices that spook the horses.

The other giant-folk that feature prominently into Elk society are the dwarves‌, as the cracks and crevices that lead to the Dovmindunder sometimes move in response to dwarven expansion or shifts in the earth. These cracks are closely monitored and mapped by Elk herds, as an unnoticed crack in the earth can spell doom for an entire herd of horses.
