Prophets and Preparations

The men that would become the Owl enjoyed the strongest connection to magic before the march of the Brightsword and the construction of the Northwall, and their interest in prophecy and divination kept them very well prepared for the tumultuous years ahead.

In truth, the men who would become the Owl had forseen with their magic a great deal of the history of the Sjonderwold. During the Age of Wonders, far before the idea of clans was even considered, the scholars and mystics that would one day become the Owl built up their relationships with many of the giant-kin, most notably the elves, dwarves, and gnomes.
