Wave Riders

Some young Elk have felt the strength of the ocean winds and seen the speed at which seabirds can fly, and decide that kind of speed is what they desire most.

After some trial and error, these Elk warriors construct light water vessels that skip and leap over the turbulent waves at incredibly high speeds. The most prized water craft are made with some insight from a passing Dragon fisherman, and can sail even into a direct headwind. Their natural bowleggedness and familiarity with a rugged, uncomfortable life has made these Elk natural sailors, and there is even some talk of water-based herds plying the coast.
