Aural Globe

An aural globe is a simple yet powerful piece of technology. If synchronised to a particular frequency, typically done with a pure tone from a tuning fork, the aural globe will emit a perfectly regular pulse of energy. All aural globes tuned to the same frequency produce pulses at the precise same time, regardless of when or where they were tuned. The globe must be spinning at a constant speed to function correctly, and the strength of the energy pulse is determined by the speed. Aural globes were developed in Defixidora University, by studying world harmony of Bellordin. They are used throughout the sky for timekeeping.
