Codra is a remote tropical planet without a Wellfont, and has yet to invent even rudimentary Skyship. It is also quite difficult to get to, as one wrong turn and a Skyship would quickly end up in the Pools for the next couple of months with no way out. It is of medium size, and orbits an equally medium star. The most populated area is a mostly closed off ocean with a large amount of rainfall rules by maritime empires. Despite this seemingly typical existence it has been catapulted to the forefront of Skylar interest.
The Ichor also allows for a mind to be subjugated, allowing one to completely overtake the other and reduce the second party to a mindless husk, slave to the first. This can easily backfire if the second party resits, and on Codra it is usually done with animals. Some cultures have adopted practices utilizing congruity ichor into their most sacred rituals.
Sometimes an ichor bond is so strong that not only mind anchors are affected. A group of interest has a practice wherein tribe members are bonded to a partner animal very early at birth. Those bonded to naturally Asaeic animals, such as the brunet otter seal, have shown significant physical changes which indicate a body anchor connection beyond just the mind anchor.

It is particularly useful when one of the agents to be connected is a mind anchor.
