Petria
Petria describes a whole host of rock-like life which can be found throughout the sky. Its members are made up of everything from photosynthetic plants to bestial animals, and even sentient humanoids. Unlike common belief, Petrian species are not entirely silicon based, however their bodies do contain significant amounts of it and it is used throughout their bodily functions, coonly as natural armour or weapons. However their metabolisms still function primarily as carbon. They do consume rocks as a means to obtain silicon.
Successful unions between Petrian and Apetran life require a strong transmutation manifestation, though it is possible. As such, while incredibly rare, half-petrian beings do exist.
